Terms & Conditions
Pricing / Reservations / Payments
All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. State of Travel makes every effort to accurately list rates, but reserves the right to make adjustments if a particular rate is incorrect.
Rates listed on hotel pages do not include occupancy taxes. Taxes are assessed upon booking, and State of Travel will include applicable taxes in the final price.
Prices listed do not include insurance, gratuities, parking fees, meals, telephone calls, internet usage, laundry service, and other miscellaneous charges (except where specifically listed under the description). Some tour components have special pricing, cancellation, change, refund and minimum stay policies for certain peak seasons.
Reservations are subject to availability. Black Out dates may apply.
Full payment with a credit card is required to make a booking. In most cases, $100 per person will be charged initially. Final credit card charges are not processed until all tour components are confirmed.
A surcharge may apply for bookings made over the phone, instead of on the website.
Late Bookings
State of Travel accepts reservations up to the day of departure, pending availability. A last-minute booking fee of $25 will apply for reservations accepted during the last 5 days prior to departure (or first arrival date).
Documents
Documents will not be released until all tour components are confirmed, and full payment has been processed. Documents will be emailed no later than 21 days prior to first arrival date. Packages including maps and guidebooks will be delivered to the first hotel, and held for the lead name on the booking. In certain cases, documents may be shipped and billed to the recipient.
Changes
Any voluntary change made to a booking for which payments have been received will result in the booking being repriced. Changes that result in additional payment will be due at time of change. A $50 fee will be added for each change made to the original booking. Additional property and/or supplier fees may also be charged.
Cancellations & Refunds
No refunds will be granted for unused services, once travel has commenced.
Cancellations of confirmed bookings will be subject to a fee of $50 per person. Additional property and/or supplier fees may also be charged.
Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing, and must be received within 30 days after completion of the tour. Send the request, with all accompanying travel documentation to:
